Abstract

Background. Currently, a wide distribution in the drives of various ma-chines and mechanisms has received frequency-controlled asynchronous motors with control from programmable controllers, which allow flexible adjustment of the system in accordance with the required parameters of motion. The choice of the components of the electric drive, as a rule, is carried out according to the required force in the steady-state speed mode. However, there are mechanisms and devices in which the load in steady-state conditions is only the friction force, which is incommensurably small in comparison with the inertial loads in the transient regimes. In this case, only the time of positioning is the characteristic of the movement of such devices, and the speed of movement and accelera-tion during start-up and braking are not the output characteristics, have a significant influence on the design of the device nodes, since they determine the inertial loads and the work of friction pairs.
Materials and methods. They are based on the theory of mathematical modeling using the apparatus of differential and integral calculus of functions of one and several variables, the positions of theoretical mechanics and electric drive, as well as methods of mathematical programming.
Results. A method for optimizing the parameters of a working cycle diagram of a frequency-controlled asynchronous electric drive of mechanisms with a predominant inertial load is proposed.
Conclusions. The developed optimization method will allow to select the elements of the electric drive, such as a reducer, an electric motor and a frequency converter with minimum powers, according to the specified masssize characteristics of the device and the operating time.
